    Can you tell us some background about this chicken? Tell us the age, where you got it, describe how it looks, the behaviour, etc? The picture is not very clear.

    I got it from a man that was selling babies chicks at a county fair. It's about four months old

    Do you have other chicks or just the one? The comb looks very small, more like a hen. Generally I sex my chicks by comparing them to each other; it's harder to tell with just the one. At four months you should be able to tell if it's a cockerel or not. Are the tail feathers long and pointy, or shorter and more rounded?

    Pretty sure at 4 months old that is a hen. I could not help with the breed though.

    Hello again. :eek:) I actually looked at this bird for you on the New Members section. This a very unusual bird. As I said on the NM post, it's likely a Light Brahma mixed breed pullet. It's a very pretty bird.

    Light Brahma mix, probably. Could have some Easter Egger in her.

    Light Brahma mix, or possibly an Easter Egger. I'm thinking pullet.
