I started a mealworm breeding project last year. They are in a sterilite bin halfway filled with oats. I give them carrots for food since potatoes rot easily. Anyways, the mealworms have bred like CRAZY and I have tons of mealworms and pupae, and darkling beetles and I have been very happy with the project. Anyway, so maybe I have been oblivious before, but when I opened the tub today to collect mealworms, I noticed thousands of these tiny light brown bugs crawling ALL THROUGH my bin, on the plastic, in the oats and everywhere! [IMG] and this freaked me out! I would hate to throw out these oats which have tons of mealworms eggs in it. What should I do/ what are these bugs? Thank you.
