Iwas wonder should i put a stick or sumthing in my ducks pen for them to perch on you know climb up on and sit or do they not like to do that?

I think that is more of a chicken things. Not positive though, I onle have 2 ducsk but I know they wouldnt perch. Maybe the smaller breeds do though.

Yeah, ducks (other than maybe muscovies? I don't know for sure, I've never had muscovies but I've heard they're perching ducks) are not interested in perching on things, so I wouldn't worry about that!

My ducks figured how to get on top of the food bin. They like to sit there to get a better view out of the door. They started to poo on the lid, so I put a wood wall up so they cannot clump up any longer. Smart suckers.

Muscovy and muscovy mixes like to perch but are ok without them. It probably isn't necessary but if you find them perching on top of your feeder/waterer you may want to add one so they don't poop in it. Our girl just uses the edge of her nesting box to perch at night now.

My ducks dont roost (bantam mallards) but some like getting up high, and some like being in a hidey hole.
I guess if they are Muscovies they might like to roost.
No harm in giving them the option.
