Help! Mite infestation!

Makes sense. The weather this summer has been SO bad: hot, humid, and wet wet wet. Perfect for bugs of all kinds (mosquitoes have been especially prolific) and I just didn't want to risk an infestation. Good to hear permethrin is adequate though!
Permethrin will help keep mosquitoes away too.
And flies.

Ivermectin may work well for some but there is egg withdrawals and that goes into their system, permethrin is topic and does not.
Why put harsh stuff in them if you don't have to?
Hey kikisgirls..I have a question maybe you can answer.. my wife went to buy repel mosquito spray for us humans but she bought the brand for clothing only and it states not to get on skin if so wash immediately. Front of the can says contains permethrin. My wife sprayed herself then upon seeing the label she rushed to take a shower. And it states not to spray it on clothing you are wearing at the time just clothing you will wear like hunting. Your thoughts?

I use DE and haven’t had a problem. Maybe a different area. I don’t have the DE box for the chickens but I have read about it and would trust it.

I spray permethrin on myself when I know I am going to be out working in the yard and there are mosquitoes. No worse than OFF as far as I am concerned.
Also...next time your at at the grocery store look at the LICE hair stuff, take a wild guess what is in there.
