Help! Mites! I think...??

I need urgent help with what I'm assuming are mites. I've never really had a problem until recently with these horrific things. I have 3 broody hens currently covered in tiny white bugs and the other hens have them as well. Im scared to use insecticides and I'm currently dusting with DE but there must be something more I can do. Im scared to lose my girls. Please help

Yes they are mites. De powder them and their pin. There is also a spray that you can use.

DE will not kill mites. Use a product with permethrin. There’s no egg withdrawal. Other users have recommended Gordon’s
