SHE WAS FINE YESTERDAY? today its like it hard for her to breathe?? I moved her and her sister to a new coop 2 days ago....she was perfectly healthy! !! She just sits there and doesnt move. One eye is closed. Barely chrips where u ca barely har it when she breathes

Is there anything unusual in the coop such as the bedding, the ventilation, wet conditions that could have been moldy, or anything else you can think of? Where did you get her? Chicks that have come from a place where there could have been a bird carrying a respiratory disease, such as MG, can show symptoms around 3-4 weeks old. MG can also be passed through the egg. Antibiotics such as Tylan 50 injectable given orally 1/4 ml once or twice daily for 5 days may help treat symptoms of a respiratory disease. Oxytetracyxline, Gallimycin, Lincomycin/Spectinomycin 50, and Tylan Soluble Powder can be used in the water instead if she is drinking well.

Ive had her for 20 days....she was heathy and I separated her from her mom and she got stressed and sick I think. :( I will get meds tomorrow but I think she will die tonight. I am crying I am so sad :( I think its respiratory of some kind

I'm really sorry, but most respiratory diseases can make carriers of your flock. I can't post any links right now, but if you Google "common poultry diseases" you will find a link to read from University of Florida which has the respiratory diseases such as infectious bronchitis, MG, coryza, ILT, and others listed with their symptoms.

Sorry for your loss. Watch for any similar symptoms in the other chicks, and start antibiotics. You can also contact the breeder, and ask about any diseases that he or she may have treated.

I'm sorry to hear that. Chronic respiratory diseases will make carriers of your whole flock, usually for life. MG and coryza last in the environment about 3 days. I would close your flock, not add or hatch any chicks, or allow any chickens to go out of your care. Here below is some information about MG, coryza, and the other common diseases such as ILT, infectious bronchitis, and aspergillosis. Also, I have included links for your state vet in the US: http://www.usaha.org/Portals/6/StateAnimalHealthOfficials.pdf
