Help! My 6 week duckling all of a sudden cannot really walk.

What is the niacin supplement you are giving??? I know durvets liquid vitamin b complex is highly recommended and works extremely fast!!!

I'm no expert, but I would say yes, switch your niacin, the durvet is made for cattle, so its a lot stronger, tractor supply carries it, and its very reasonably priced!!!

I purchased the Durvet vitamin b for him! Will give to him immediately.

Very good information there! I will continue to give him his supplements. He did walk a bit more today, however he was having to spread his wings to balance himself. Going to keep letting him swim. I let him swim today for 3 times 20ish minute periods.

I would give it orally and not in the water, not sure how you are going to administer it, but in the water can give a foul taste that may turn the ducks off to drinking

When I was giving my ducks the vitamin B they were pretty small and I dosed their water and their food liberally, which was fermented whole grains so that worked. You can also give it over treats or with a syringe.

This is what I did as well. I put the vitamin B in their water and then brewers yeast over their food. I just think he never got to get much of it since the others got there first.
