Help my aggressive runner drakes attack me!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll give it a try. They run away if I hold a bag, but I find it difficult cleaning them out & holding a bag at the same time!

To all who breed their ducks remember that all traits have the possibility of being passed on genetically. Like may beget like. Temperment can be selected for through careful breeding. A prime example are fighting cocks. Although extremely rooster agressive, fighting cock roosters are rarely human agressive. That trait has been bred out of them because of the dangers it would present. So, son't be surprised if your agressive drakes produce agressive sons. Why not breed from the calmer individuals?

Yup. Personality can be passed on. My girls are friendly and sweet and my drake is only mildly annoying and doesn't cause damage. Hopefully the ducklings all get dad's looks and the mom's brains and sweetness.

There are too many really nice drakes to put up with a total jerk.

I had a go with the turning upside down trick (the drake that is, not me:p) He didn't come back for another attack so I'll keep going. It's amazing how they distinguish between people and only go for my daughter & me!
Do you have any suggestions as I was going to incubate a different breed of ducks, but don't want to oversocialise them? I have ex battery hens so they don't get broody, so will have to do it myself.
