HELP! My Chicken Ate Tape!

My chicken who has bumblefoot had tape on her bandage. When I put her back in the run a chicken ate the tape. We are calling a vet but in the mean time what should I do?

Did you see the chicken eat the tape?
It is hard to imagine that the chicken would eat something that big, but there are some crazy chickens.

Yes. It was a few inches long.

What type of tape was it? I had chicken eat a long strand of string from a feed bag once, & she survived. She was able to poop it all out.
