HELP my chicken is limping.

I agree with the above posts.give her some supportive care and time to recover if she does continue to limp after some time to heal is given I might be concerned something else might be happening. But do give her time. If the foot starts to curl up or she begins with paralysis then I might start to suspect Mareks disease. Mareks disease can appear as slight as a limp or as vigorous as paralysis. With Mareks tumors are formed inside the body and can press on nerve endings causing limping and paralysis.im NOT saying she has Mareks. I'm just saying to watch out for any other possible signs. I would give her supportive care and ample time to heal.make sure it's not getting any worse.it also could be the cold weather causing the limp.give it time. If it continues in time after supportive care and enough time to heal then I might suspect something else is causing the limp.but the important thing here is time
She will need ample time to heal before considering another cause. I hope this is helpful and hope she makes a full recovery soon.

Chicknmania that's the good foot its the top picture that's the one she's limping on but I will check the other foot closely thank you. And spikeschooks ive never heard of betadine but would detol antiseptic do the same thing?
I think so - Betadine is just a liquid antiseptic for dabbing or putting on wounds, so detol should achieve the same result
