Help, my chicken is sick

Hola, tengo una gallina de 3 años como mascota. Esta mañana estaba sentada y no quería comer. Puede caminar, pero está más tranquila de lo normal. Su cresta está más pálida que las demás. Respira como si tuviera la nariz tapada, como cuando estás resfriado, pero no tiene mucosidad y sus ojos se ven normales.





No tiene las plumas erizadas. Las demás gallinas se comportan con normalidad. No tiene secreción nasal ni ocular. Simplemente parece débil y no le interesa la comida.





En mi zona es muy difícil encontrar veterinarios especializados en aves. ¿A qué se debe esto y qué tratamiento me recomiendan?

She is breathing like her nose is blocked, kind of like when you have a cold, but she has no mucus and her eyes look normal.





She does not have ruffled feathers. The other chickens are acting normal. There is no discharge from her nose or eyes. She just seems weak and is not interested in food.





In my area it is very hard to find veterinarians specialized in birds. What could this be and what treatment do you recommend?

Fotos de esta gallina serían muy útiles y nos ayudarían a diagnosticarla. Fotos de ella de vista lateral, sentada y de pie, y una buena vista de su rostro.

La respiración dificultosa sin secreción nasal ni ocular
suele indicar congestión pulmonar, lo que puede ser un signo de insuficiencia cardíaca inminente. En este caso, no hay mucho que puedas hacer, pero intenta que se sienta cómoda. Puedes ofrecerle pienso húmedo y huevo crudo para animarla a comer. ¿que raza es ella? Las gallinas de producción viven alrededor de 2 a 4 años.

Can you post photos of her and her poop?
When was her last egg?
Any lice/mites?
Have you dewormed her?
Is her crop emptying?

If she's weak, then I'd start by getting her hydrated. Offer electrolytes or a sugar water mixture (1tsp sugar, a pinch of salt, a pinch of baking soda to 1cup of water). Once she's hydrate, offer some wet mushy chicken feed or bits of scrambled egg.

Hopefully with more information and photos we can offer better suggestions.

Difficulty breathing without nasal or ocular discharge
This usually indicates lung congestion, which can be a sign of impending heart failure. In this case, there isn't much you can do, but try to make her comfortable. You can offer her wet feed and raw egg to encourage her to eat. What breed is she? Production hens live around 2 to 4 years.

Gunky throat is a symptom as well. My Rooster Goliath has suddenly developed circulation issues due to his heart having some sort of issue, & I'm treating him with Ginkgo Biloba 120mg, & he's improving.
