Help! My chicken just died!

Ok chicken moms! I have a buff Orpington that is about 3 years old. I literally let her out of her pen 10 minutes ago. Was putting fresh hay in and throwing scratch. I noticed one laying by the walkway in an awkward position. Went to her and tried to make her stand. She wouldn't. I was watching her and talking to my mom about her. She kinda rolled on her side and flapped her wings real fast then died!!! What would cause that??

Maybe shock or a heart attack?? I'm so sorry for your loss

Someone said she could have been egg bound? They said when she walked around it could have burst inside her and causes sudden death. Has anyone heard of that?
