He seems to have calmed down and I can only feel the tip of the styrofoam piece, the vet told me to massage it until it passes through. If it doesn’t I should take him!

Put coconut oil on your hands and masaage the crop, feed him some if you would like. Styrofoam should slowly break apart making it easy (er) for him to pass.

What is that used for? Very unfamiliar. Mine want to eat white styrofoam - like styrofoam coolers and coffee cups.

It's a good idea to keep some pieces of coconut oil in the freezer for emergencies. I make little capsule-shaped globs and keep them on hand in the freezer.

We have a trampoline and it has a pool noodle like material for safety and this little guy managed to fly over to the trampoline and start chomping down on that! This has never happened with my chickens so im unfamiliar on what to do!
