Clean off the wounds with warm soapy water, weak betadine, hibiclens, or hydrogen peroxide (only 1 time) and rinse with warm water. Assess how bad the wounds are. Pat dry and apply neosporin ointment. Keep the chiocken in the house so that flies do not lay maggot larvae in the wounds. A horse ointment called swat may be applied when she goes back to the coop to prevent fly strike. Make sure she gets plenty of protein (eggs, tuna, etc.) They can be in shock for a period, but keep her calm and let her rest.
