Cocci anyone... I would throw the sink at it... Not literally... sounds like most of your birds were young... I would treat with Sulmet if Cocci is suspected... Mites can kill weak birds quickly but I have found that it can be a two part problem... Check fecal samples...If Cocci is suspected... Treat with Sulmet and tetracyline..I know someone who had the same problem... Cocci and mites and it was catastrophe.... Good luck.
