Help! My chickens aren't laying!

Well, I came home from taking my boys to school this morning and went to feed my girls and one of them was in a nesting box, so I piddled around and waited and sure enough she laid an egg!! So maybe they are just late bloomers or it had something to do with the red pepper flakes I fed them a few days ago, Either way, I got my first egg, so maybe the rest will start!!! Lol
