HELP my chickens ate pre emergent

Our backyard was sprayed yesterday and I let my 3 chickens out this morning and they got into the backyard. No telling how long they were in there. What do I do? Are they going to be ok?

I think they will be fine. There have been numerous studies on the toxicity of pre-emergent herbicides and they have been found to be quite safe. Think about all the wild birds that visit these areas as well. I'm not advocating that you encourage your chickens to use the areas after they've been treated but I wouldn't worry too much about a short term exposure.
