It looks like his intensines are something is coming out of his butt!

OH Dear, please help! What can cause this and how do I make him better!

Thank you nifftyj. I'll get my husband right on that! He had already cleaned her and soaked her butt, much to her displeasure but if it helps and will make her feel better!

Is this a hen or rooster? Or a small chick?

If this is a roo, I have no idea what to say! But if we are talking about a girl, she is prolapsed. You need to clean her up, get some Preparation H, apply it, and gently push it all back in. It may come out again, but keep pushing. Also, put her in a dark area so she won't be wanting to lay eggs for awhile. Hope this helps

It really helps to keep all the info on one chicken issue in one thread. We can't help so effectively if there are bits and pieces all over the board.
