help my chucks have mites

HELLP everyone i have dusted my chucks with D.E beacause they were pulling a few feathers out and i discovered a few mites iv done it twice in the last wk but they seem to be still pulling feathers out and got mites..is there anything else that you use for treating the birds thats better than D.E..im new to this so im not sure what to do..any suggestions apriciated.....donna

Seven dust works quite well.

5 % Sevin dust seems to work the best., usually sold in garden supply store, feed store, etc.
