Help! My dog keeps eating the chicken food

It is likely to give your dog the 'Trots' big time.
My problem is stopping the dogs eating chicken poo!!

Me to isn’t that just the grossest thing ever fresher the poo the better he also loves the chicken feed I run him out of there all the time but the feed doesn’t seem to bother him the poo on the other hand bothers me he lets off some bombs in the evening wow

Life will be better for everyone if your dog eats dog food, and your chickens can eat their feed in peace. Separation! Most dogs are vacuum cleaners; there's nothing they won't eat! And vomit. And have GI issues. And intestinal surgery. And sometimes bad poisoning.

My idiot lab eats the chicken food whenever he gets to it. Not very often but he did eat about 2 lbs of it when I let him in my shop. He was fine but just a little gassy that day lol.

My beagle will try to eat the FF if I'm not paying enough attention when she comes in the coop with me. And she'll try to sneak a chicken poop or two also - doesn't matter if they are fresh or dried out, she'll grab it & run outside so I can't stop her from eating it. She ignores the crumble, though.

I wasn't sure where the best place to post this would be but I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem. My dog loves chicken food (layers pellets and cracked corn) and he sneaks in their run and gobbles it up whenever he can. Recently he has been experiencing digestive issues and I'm wondering if this might be the cause.....

My dogs also eat the chicken food and I think it does cause problems in the long run. First it makes them gain weight. I also think it maybe the cause as to why my Aussie got pancreatitis I’m not sure but that is what I think. I leave my coop open for the chickens to roam but I need to figure out a way to keep dogs from accessing the food.
