My Diamond Dove is acting very strange. I put her back inside her cage, and she flew onto the ground. She threw the head back and started twisting it around. She also put her wing out and started shaking it.

This only happens when she lands on the ground after flying. It also only happens once. The first time she lands on the ground, she does it. If you make her land on the ground again, she will not do it. But I saw her doing her head shake one night, but it wasn't as bad.

This is VERY weird! I don't know what it is. I need some help!

how old is this dove? I have a juvinile morning dove who did something similar when she wanted food. Twisted her head upside down and falling over sometimes. I'm still unsure whether it was a birdie tantrum or really meant she wanted food. It finally stopped when she started eating seeds on her own. This is my first dove, so i'm no expert, but it seems if she had the disease she would be weak; i read reports when i was trying to figure out too, and it seems like the pmv is kinda like seizures? Anyways thought this might be relevant.
