Help!!! My drakes are fighting....

It used to be a rabbit cage my friend had and didn’t need anymore... some wood, paint, ramp, new roof and it was perfect! They actually went in it the first time on their own! I’m one of those trash to treasure people...

Our situation is a little different but I thought that I would share in case it could help. We had 2 male muscovy and 1 female for 1 year. They were fine until they matured. Some fighting occurred but not too bad. We had two clutches hatch last year and unfortunately 9 of them were boys. Once they were around 7 months old it was obvious that we had to do something or they were literally going to kill each other. In desperation we took all 9 males to a livestock auction where we watched our sweet boys being held up like they were wild animals and auctioned off to the highest bidder. It was sad but our only option at the time. We have learned that if we are going to have girls and boys that we are going need to identify the boys as soon as possible and move them out asap. Our other two males fight less now that we have 7 females.
I feel your pain as both of our boys are very special and we couldn't imagine rehoming either one. I hope that you are able to work things out.

Well, Today I have been hard at work building a barrier in their pen, as well as their house... I will post on how things turn out when they are done.... ( Florida is so hotttttttt! )

View attachment 1734777 Hello, I have two drakes that are a year old this Easter, they are fighting like crazy! They used to get along so well. These are my first ducks and I am worried about them hurting each other. Is this normal? Will they stop? Do I need to separate them? I only have one duck house, and I don’t know how that would work.... Any suggestions?
When I had to separate my ducks, I put one in a dog kennel. That way they were both able to see each other but weren’t able to hurt each other. I know lots of pairs of ducks freak out if you separate them completely, and can even get depressed and extremely stressed so if they imprinted on each other maybe try the dog kennel.
