Help my duck is having seizures!!!

Does anyone use CBD oil? I've heard great things for seizures. It would be very small amount pending on strength. Only a drop or 2? I use it for our furry pets when in need for pains. I have not used on the ducks yet. Source CBD uses it on animals at a wildlife park medically. Might not be a fix for whatever is causing but would maybe relieve, slow or stop the frequent seizures.

1 seizure again last night. She flipped right over on poor Harley, Piper, & Quin.scared the dickens out of them. She is Still eating and drinking very well, and is her spunky self.

Poor thing. I wish she'd get over them for good but being down to one is sure an improvement. Look up CBD oil that @LilyLoo posted. Might be worth looking at.

It depends on what is causing the seizures. If it because of a vitamin deficiency, it will not fix the problem. Continue to give the 1mL as concentrated as you can get for several weeks. I have personal experience with research on CBD, but I would not give it to your duck. That would be a last resort. If you can fix what is causing the seizures, that is better than just masking the symptoms. Does that make sense?

CBD can relieve seizures in certain circumstances. But it doesn’t cure the seizures. Kind of like using ibuprofen for sinus headaches. It doesn’t stop what’s causing the sinus headaches, but relieves the symptoms.

If you can cure it, that’s most ideal. But in an instance where a crested duck has true and permanent neurological defects, CBD oil might be beneficial.
