Okay I know ducks quack and I feel REALLY silly asking for help on this but my duck/chicken coop is right next to the wall that is adjacent to my bedroom. I never had any problems with my chickens making noises at night or waking up super early. I am raising ducks now and specifically found Cayuga chicks that are not only beautiful but are supposed to be more quiet as a breed. Well, they are not quiet at 5:30 am and let me know they want out of their coop. Just curious if there are any ideas out there. I do know that as the sun begins to rise later this will not be an issue. THANKS in advance. Thanks for even reading this little post ( yeah lady ducks quack. what were you thinkin? )

No right away but very close to it as I don't want the neighbors disturbed. Today was at 6:30 am which was great! I see your point. Don't want to reinforce "bad" behavior. ;)

Ducks dont sleep all night like Chickens....I dont lock my mature Ducks into their houses at night unless its winter and very cold...Mine still Quack but it might be when the Rooster is up crowing in the next coop over that gets things riled up?....My Birds start at 5 am too.....
