For the last week and a half my duck has had very irritated looking eyes and is itching her head alot. She has just recently scratched it to an open sore. I had people tell me it could be that shes not getting enough water to play in so I've started bringing her in a few times a week to play in the bathtub along with water in her pen but it does not seem to be helping her much. What could be causing her to be so itchy? We have had quite a few weeks of it getting below freezing at night so I would think if it were bug related they would have been gone by now because of the freezing weather. She lives with 5 chickens and they dont seem to be having any problems from what I can tell. Please help me if you can. Thanks.

@ferfer78 I'd look at your chickens closely mites and lice are a problem for them and if your duck is sleeping with them they will get on her too, Mites look like very tiny pepper crawling around and lice attach themselves to the feather shaft of the bird it's feeding on. I'll get you some info. Also if your duck has an open wound it is a invite to your chickens who love to eat on things like this so either keep your duck away from your chickens till she heals or get some blue kote and cover her open sore. for her eyes you can use a warm saline wash to rinse them or get some Terramycin eye ointment from the feed store or Veterycin spray for wounds and infections and spray her eyes with that. Do not use Blue Kote in or around the eyes.

First time my chickens got mite infestation I about croaked, Never having delt with anything like this before but they can be treated and their coop also , I actually had to get the mites on me before I knew my chickens had them.
