HELP my duckling is floping and cant stand up! URGENT HELP.

I would be afraid that your duck is showing signs of botulism. Botulism is caused by a toxin in dead animals, fish, and vegetation that has decayed. Its is very common in ducks. It causes paralysis of the legs, wings, and neck. Death may occur quickly, but if one survives for 48 hours there is a good chance of recovery with supportive care and feeding. The other possibility is wry neck from a head injury. Give her vitamins and electrolytes in her water, and give it with a dropped if she won't drink. Here is some info about botulism:

BOTULISM

160.Botulism is an intoxication caused by the toxins of Clostridium botulinum. With the exceptions of vultures, most birds are susceptible. The clinical signs appear within a few hours to several days. Flaccid paresis of legs, wings, necks and eyelids is observed. The paresis is rapidly progressing to paralysis and the birds fall into a deep coma with neck and head typically extended forward. There are no typical gross lesions. The treatment with selenium, vitamins A, D and E as well as with some antibiotics as chlortetracycline, bacitracin etc. could reduce mortality rate.
