Help!!!! My favorite Rooster is ATTACKING ME

I get rid of my aggressive roosters well
I rehome them. It’s too risky taking them down to be sold as some bad lawbreakers buy them for cockfighting.
Again, people! If you plan on trying to have a pet rooster and I have had many!
Select a non aggressive breed and raise from chicks with lots of handling etc love

Some people (like me) don't get roosters on purpose. I already knew i didn't want a rooster, which is why i ordered from a hatchery where professional sexting is done. I ordered all pullets. Everyone knows that it isn't 100% reliable though, so i guess i knew there was a chance i "could" get a rooster. When you hand raise them from a chick, you become attached and it's hard to let go so easily. They are like that one cousin who you can't stand, thats toxic af, but you love them and keep them in your life anyways

I've raised my Rusty by hand from a day old chick. Handled them daily. Hand fed them. They got treats, love, affection, propper care. They eat out of my hand, sit with me, come when called. They're spoiled. Rusty however, the little s**t, just decided one day he was gonna be the ladies favorite. Noone else was to give his hens attention and noone better dare invade his space or be in his yard. I think it was jealousy that turn him. He wanted to be the cock of the walk. Typical man I'm just kidding...

I love them to death. Mine are so smart.
They actually only bite me it seems when I give one more attention. Very jealous

If anyone has actually managed to rehabilitate an aggressive, vicious rooster, I'd like to hear about it. I've had several lovely roosters and two bad ones. One scalped a hen but was fine with people. The other became vicious toward people, including me. They both came to the same end. I would not rehome a problem rooster; I would feel terrible if such a bird inflicted an injury on an unsuspecting person, bird or animal, especially a child. We tried correcting the problem behavior with failed results. A rooster can do serious damage, and around here, at least, we now have a "one strike, you're soup" policy.

That’s unfortunate because they are just being roosters! They are wired to be this way, just like a bull or a dog, but fortunately there are less aggressive breeds which should be the ONLY ones being selected for a suburban flock.
There are many people that want and need an aggressive rooster to protect their flocks like a sheep dog. I gave one to a friend on a ranch and he only wanted a mean aggressive rooster for his large flock.
I have tamed very agressive roosters yes to a certain stage but not entirely

Lol, I personally drove to the hatchery and picked mine out. However, i get what you're saying. You must take risks to get the treat though. I'd have much better luck and odds of strictly pullets buying from a reputable hatchery than i would buying from a local farmer or breeder. Or atleast in my experience. Every farmer i inquired didn't offer sexting options, and if they did, there wasn't very much trust in their own predictions as they're not professionals. Simply google educated, like myself, lol. You dont really have much of a choice round here. There's no breeders, and if there are, it's not the breeds i want or am looking for.

If you mean tame as in.. The basterd knows better and runs when i grab the rake or waterhose, then i have tamed him quite well He's only hostile when you're unarmed now. That's progress right?

I tried the “carry him around” trick with an aggressive rooster that I had.........he swung his rooster neck around and bit me on the arm, I had to literally PRY his beak open to get him to let go(which is harder to do than you would imagine when you only have one hand to work with.) ..... I’m not sure how I tasted to him, but to me he tasted great!
