Help!! My female duck has a lump!!

My duck, Webster, has a lump between her legs. Today, I noticed that she has been limping and holding up her left leg. Now, she does have bumblefoot on that left foot, but she also squeals a little when I pick her up. Has anyone seen this before?

Is the lump hard or squishy? Do you think she is egg bound? So sorry I’m inexperienced with this but I’m hoping my response helps others see this! Not sure if these people have dealt with this but here goes.

She hasn't laid an egg in a while. Webster kind of lays when she wants to. It's squishy. I think her limping has something to do with her bumblefoot, and I noticed it's swollen tonight. I am soaking her feet and spraying them with medicine .

Can you get a good picture of her bumble, soaking and spraying may not be enough you might need to open it up and get the core out.

As for the squishy lump could it be the egg pouch many of my females have what looks to be a squishy lump between their legs and it has to do with egg laying.

I'm about to take her to the vet, so I can't get a pic right now. I don't actually feel comfortable cutting her bumblefoot open myself. She is almost 5 years old. Her squishy pouch lump leans more to the left. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

She had an x-ray done, and it came back clear!! The vet thinks that Webster's lack of appetite has to do with her bumblefoot, which is why she has a bulge. She lost half a pound. She's on Baytril 2 times a day for 10 days. I'm happy it's not anything worse, but we are taking care of her feet. Thank you!!

Good to hear nothing showed up on the xray. Hang in there with the bumble they can sure be a pain to deal with.
