HELP! My female duck is burying her eggs?!Why?

how many eggs will they bury until they actually go broody?

are khaki campbells known to be broody?

I think mine is broken. She laid an egg every other day for a week in Feb, then stopped and hasnt laid again....? She eats alfalfa hay (her FAVE) and ground up corn/oats, along with whatever I throw to her on occasion (they like oreo cookies...) The research I did said that Rouens lay between 35-100 eggs a year...thats a pretty big variable!

my pekin has a nest and has 10 eggs in it, i notice she will sit on them all night and get up in the morning before dawn, checked on them she has a couple buried and leaves stashed onto of them. she may or may not hatch them, but i think she may get the hang of it. i put some food and water close to the nest so she want have to go so far to get it. but i do have 5 in the bator of hers already!!!!!
