help!! My first show!!Please please please help!!!

I am going to my first show next week. I will be in the open category. I have never shown or even been to a show before. Could you guys please tell me how this works. Do I have to dress up? Do I have to answer any questions? Do I have to be present during judging. My birds have to stay there until the show is over right? Do I have to have insurance??
Thanks guys. I have no clue what I have gotten myself into.
