Help my hatching Cayuga Ducks have stopped hatching

Can someone help? This is my first post and this is the first time I've tried to incubate anything. I have six cayuga duck eggs in a brinsea eco incubator. Four of them started hatching yesterday morning but they appear to have stopped. One of them is definitely alive. I can hear it peeping and the egg keeps shuddering. The other three after an initial crack in the side of the shell have stopped trying to get out. I filled both pots full of water as per instructions and I haven't taken the lid off since day 25. Not sure what to do now. Help! The egg which seems to be the only survivor is breaking out of the top of the egg. The other three were coming out at the side. Not sure if this makes a difference?

The first hole they break in the egg is called a pip. They make the first hole to get oxygen, then they rest and finish absorbing the yolk and blood. Ducks are notoriously slow hatchers and it can take 24+ hours from the pip to when they zip (start to break out of the shell).

Also :welcome!

Ducks usually take 1-2 days to complete a hatch from external pip, sometimes longer. I've had one duckling take 4 days from pip to hatch. Just keep an eye on the humidity and give them time.

Aww, congrats! I hope it will inspire the others to hatch soon as well. Enjoy your babies!
