DID YOU SEE THIS POST ABOVE?Yes, they can. The half that's missing should pass if it was soft....are you sure you felt egg shell or pelvic bones?
Although not common in quail, it could possibly be EDS or Egg Drop Syndrome, which is characterized by soft-shelled and shell-less eggs. This condition is more prevalent in waterfowl and heavy broiler breeders as well as brown egg layers. It's thought to be caused by a viral infection to the shell gland and could be attributed to contaminated drinking water.
There is no known treatment.
We have something similar here:Check out the "soft shelled egg", and the "soft shelled egg accompanied by a growth" sections of the following page:

That would be classic egg yolk peritonitis.DID YOU SEE THIS POST ABOVE?
My point was it may not be something that can be fixed.thanks, I saw the post but I really want to know the way to fix it.
I tried giving her some crushed eggshell and don't let her be in too hot place.
my place is super hot like 36 c recently.
I'm thinking about
- she might lose some calcium so I just gave her those shells.
- she might be stressed because of heat at afternoon.
I don't know how long she'll recover but seeing her laid these eggs make me worried.
and it has been 2 days now.
Your correct, there is no cure, drug, etc...if they get better they will. If very sever, they will become barren.Eyp is not usually curable. I'm sorry.
