Help!!! My hen lost many feathers!!!

Hi everyone, I have 2 hens in the backyard, they are both 1.7 months old. My white leghorn got a lot of feathers losing, from legs and the vent, and she haven’t lay egg more than a week. The feathers dropped easily even she’s just jump over or even just shake her body. She looks a little sluggly and doesn’t want me to touch her, but eats normal, drinks normal. The other thing is we treat her and the other hen the corid water about 10 days already , is it related to losing feathers?

is she molting? if you're in the northern hemisphere, that's the most likely reason.

Do check them for lice or mites, but it looks like they are molting. They will stop laying eggs and sometimes just not feel well. Molting is uncomfortable for them and even chickens who love to be held may not want to be handled much.

She's molting. Completely normal this time of year. Lots of my birds have gone through, or is going through a heavy molt.
