Help!! My Hen Staar has a hurt leg.

Favoring her left leg, won't put much weight on it and is hopping instead of walking. She was found between a cyclone fence and some wood, when I put her in path to her coupe she hopped to it, laid her egg and came back out limping. I don't thing anything is broke, but might have sprained her leg. Can I give her some Ibuprophen for inflammation and or pain?
I really need some help here. I can't stand seeing her hurting. I love my Staar!

I answered on your first thread. Do not give ibuprofen, tylenol, or aleve. Baby aspirin or low dose aspirin can be given.

She was given a couple drops of shaved powder as we had no responses, but keeping a close eye on her and making her as comfortable as possible. She seems to be fine right now. If anything changes I'll let you know. Does anyone know why they shouldn't have Ibuprophen?

I don't know why, if there is a problem with liver or kidney absorbtion, but many animals can die from Tylenol , and a friend's large dog died from getting Aleve. There have been some studies using ibuprofen on broiler chickens to study coccidiosis.
