We've had these hens for 2-3 weeks. They cane from a farm with 1900 producing hens and are 1-1 1/2 year old. I'm not sure if the bleeding is from them pecking one another or sickness... Any suggestions/thoughts would be appreciated. We are isolating any that we find bleeding. Thanks, Christyl

Upon closer inspection the blood is from a split on the upper part of the vent. These hens have their beaks cut already so I'm not sure what else to try to stop them from being so MEAN. I will try to watch and see if it only seems to be a couple that are the leaders and separate them for a few days I guess. I also discovered itty bitty white bugs any advice on what to pick up for this?

P.S. We don't have a Rooster.

UPDATE: Bought the DE and permethrin, cleaned out the coop, raked their run, dusted both and then the birds too. Will repeat in a couple weeks unless you all advise differently. I'm thinking they were picking at each others mites(or whatever they are).
