Is there anything I can do to help his legs? He gets around by scooting and I hope that he will get stronger as he grows. he is eating and drinking fine. He is only one of two that hatched and I hate to leave the other one on his own.

He will burrow underneath the other one and stay with his head under.

any advice would be appreciated.

One of my first goslings this year had spraddle legs, I used the rubber band method that I found on a post here. After a couple of days with the rubber band he was up and around just like his other hatch mates. I can't remember the post but if you search spraddle legs, you should find instructions.

Good luck. :)

I have had a really hard time trying to get it right. It is standing now but one leg is turned outwards. so it is an improvenment as it can stand and walk instead of scooting. I will keep you updated.. thanks for the help

Good to hear that he is up on his feet. I just had to band another gosling that hatched a couple days ago, he was banded for a day and he managed to get the rubber band off on his own. With just 24 hours he went from his legs straight out to his sides to walking and hopping a bit. Hopefuly your gosling will get stronger with time, now that he is up.
