help my incubator lids cracked! what do i do?

    hi i received a brinsea mini advance incubator yesterday from ups. I opened it today and i find that the lid has a crack. i bought it from http://www.bigappleherp.com. i sent a message to them but so far no reply... what do i do?

    Call them first and see what they will do. If they won't make it right call or email Brinsea. That's what I did and dealt with Rose who got it worked out in a hurry.

    They will probably want to see a picture of the box to see if it was damaged during shipping. I sent a picture of the outer box as well as they one the unit came in. neither was damaged.

    Good luck, I was in the exact same predicament three weeks ago with expensive eggs sitting and waiting.

    One day isn't really long to wait. Let them have time to reply. Either they or you will have to file a damage claim with ups. Usually you then get a return label and once ups has confirmation of pickup the company sends the replacement out.
