Help my little hen has cut from chicken wire on side of face and it caused eye to shut!

Im out of triple antibiotic ointment too should i put some saline in eyes or judt treat the cut?

The eye is there I checked i was moving run from coop to paint and she attempted to run and somehow wire got. Her as i quickly shut door

Advice shes ALL lethargic NOW so she's inside in a pet taxi ...help! could just simply be shock. Its NOt bleeding anymore, (never was bleeding bad i just glanced and saw a dab of blood)

You might need a better pic as that one is blurry. Flush with saline and get some neosporin in it.

Did the eye get poked or was it just the side of the face that got cut? And could you post some more pictures please.

Thanks ALL i have is cortisone cream at moment.. Will that be ok until i get Neosporin???

Cortisone is just for pain. Do not use it. You need anti bacterial. @Eggcessive

Saline is good to use, either home made or store boutght. That is salt water mixed weak. Recipe:
Mix 1 tsp of table salt in 16 ounces water. Boil it for a few minutes, and cool to room temperature. Store in a clean jar. It is good to use to flush the eye or wound. Can someone go to the store and get some plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment or Neosporin? Use a dot into the eye.

Do you think she banged her head? Try getting her to drink some fluids. Offer some wet chicken feed and a little scrambled egg. I hope she perks up.

I found this stuff called hen healer
ot from tractor suppy store i HAD to have som eone hold her but the round part (I'm unsure if its a ear on the side of face one is on each side of a chickens face kind of

cut from tht angl i could see when when someone else was holding her abf i applied hen healer ointment to the cut of box shortly after so i believe she feels better than prior that no ointment:/ i feeel so bad
