Help! My month old chicken

It is hard to know if the chick may have some type of defect, such as a hernia, but most chicks with mushy chick disease (omphalitis) die within the first 2 weeks, and are very sick. Does the enlarged lower belly feel like tissue or air under the skin? Is it pooping normally? What breed is it?

It feels like air under the skin and they are pooping fine and I am unsure of the breed.
