Help! My neighbor is recovering from histoplasmosis . . .

and though she didn't get it from my chickens (more likely the geese, bats, and racoons we have around here), they have decided lately that they like hanging out next door. She had to have lung surgery in Dec. and is trying to limit her exposure to anything that might pose a risk.

We have decided to fence in an acre of our land, but this will take time. What can we do to discourage the chickens from going over there until then? I have given her permission to throw things in their direction to scare them away, but do you all have any ideas for us?
 
You need to isolate your birds immediately and get that run built. I'm glad your neighbour is friendly, she could sue. Be very careful about your disposal of droppings...
