You're talking to the wife of a veterinarian, I'm ultra sensitive when I hear people who keep animals but who can't afford vet treatment. Most vets offer Care Credit, where you can pay smaller amounts over time. Otherwise, try to borrow the money or pay something late - these animals count on us to do what's right for them. They have no one else.

I understand that they do depend on us for their own living. I am trying to get money my own saving and researching the best aviary hospitals.I live in an area where there isn't much speacalists in exotic birds. It's my parents who don't want to help pay and ever since they got the ducks I've been the only one to care for them. I'm also in college student trying to study for Animal Health Science and wish to become a veterinarian.
