HELP! my quails eye popped ?????????

Also as the swelling is gong down I can see that her eye is indeed gone. I still have no clue how it happened but I have hope she will recover and return to her normal self again.

I know I’m still in shock myself. To be honest that poor bird has been through hell being rejected by her flock and almost pecked to death and now this. She’s a fighter

Go get some colloidal silver. Wal Mart carries 'Sovereign Silver' at a reasonable price. Any health food store will have it as well. Dilute it with some distilled water for drinking water and also put some, full strength, topically on the eye a couple time a day.

just an update i was looking in the eye today and it appears there MIGHT be an eye. even if there is i dont know the damage the eye could have suffered but i have fingers crossed. she is getting a bit better every day. i clean the eye daily and put topical on it. i will keep posting updates.

I agree that you should use collidal silver! I’ve seen it heal some nasty eye infections so it should hopefully help! I hope your quail makes a full recovery!
