Help. My silkie is walking backwards

im traveling and the first night I got her out of the carrier and she just started walking backwards with her head down. Is this wry neck or something else?

It does sound like the neurological symptoms sometimes seen with wry neck. Some may also run in circles. Vitamin E 400 IU, a little B1 thiamine, and some chopped egg for selenium, a mineral that helps the body use vitamin E, are the usual treatments. Poultry Cell or NutriDrench 1 ml each day has those, but you can add mor E with a vitamin E softgel as well. Helping her eat a very wet mash of chicken feed, water, and egg if she is not able to eat are also helpful.
