My first chicken was normal yesterday but today she can't stand up and launches herself onto her back. We believe it's the right foot but nothing looks wrong except for a graze on the other foot. Please help I have searched everywhere on the internet.

My second chicken has been limping on one foot for quite some time but its not healing over time. Her toes on her bad foot is scrunched up and in the air while she is using her other foot to hop.

Please help me I don't know what to do.

2nd Chicken

They are both not vaccinated.

For food we usually give them a wheel barrow full of lettuce (they are grouped together with 30 more birds), small amounts of bread, cabbage and tomatoes. They are also free range so they do find their own food if necessary.

My dad recently had bsfl (Black Soldier Fly Larvae) that were poisonous but that was weeks ago so don't know if this would be helpful.
How were the larvae poisonous?
I'm sorry to say, that's an extremely poor diet, your birds a likely suffering from malnutrition and vitamin deficiency.
Please switch to a formulated feed as soon as you can and purchase some nutriti-drench to dose the ailing hens.

My dad got them for me for my birthday but he said one of his friends gave it to him.

They both eat and drink fine. I have only noticed the first chicken can't move because her legs can't keep her up and the second one just limps. I'm sorry it's not much information.

Hmm, I'd switch to real food for now and see if the condition improves.
You can also give 1/3 of a people b complex vitamin and 400 i.u of vitamin e if you can't get nutridrench.
