In response to the survey questions, he is mainly trying to determine who would be interested in buying chicken coops, and what their priorities are. The survey is constructed so that if you indicate you are interested in chickens, extra questions will pop up that ask about your buying stage, as well as your priorities (cost, weight, resistance to predators, etc).
He currently has about 50 responses, and is finding out a lot of interesting things. For example:
- #1 purchasing concern - resistance to predators (big time!)
- $10 is considered to be a reasonable cost for a set of plans
- If you don't own your home, you are unlikely to have chickens (renters are not a target market)
- If you had kids, but they don't live at home, you're unlikely to have chickens
Meaty stuff for a high-schooler!
Thanks for your help! keep 'em coming!
