Help! My wife is mad at me for feeding the chickens pizza!

About all mine may get is the crust. I'm sure everyone has mentioned what they shouldn't eat but I don't think its that big of a deal. Chickens are one of natures disposal units. They search for anything that's edible. Even predigested uhm other animals excreatment from unknown sources. Eww

Cultures actually have stomach acid strong enough to kill that bacteria though. Chickens do not have those same stomachs

Eh, it isn't so much the chicken's stomach that stands in the way of eating unsavory things it is their liver.
Chickens don't have a terribly efficient one, but they don't sit and gorge on nasty either like a vulture.
They peck and run so their system dosent have to process a ton of garbage at once.
That being said, if you take their ability to peck and run or replace everything with trash their systems can't process 'be it pizza or roadkill' so those toxins aren't purged they're screwed.

They're *my* chickens, thanks for asking. Though she did help design the coop and she holds them for me when someone needs an operation

This is what you do... Go to Walmart, buy a bag of meally worms, and at checkout, tell the teller (Oh, yah. They taste great on ice cream). Then watch their reaction!

Then it sounds like it's up to you whether they get a pizza treat or not.

But I do agree with 'everything in moderation' and I'm not sure your first pic shows moderation, though I havent read the rest of the thread so if you do have a massive flock, disregard.
