HELP! MYSTERY DEATH!

I have 27 bamtams, (16 chickens, 11 roosters) and friday night I noticed that one of the roosters bad a bloody neck, and along thne side of his comb looked scabby and ripped. I picked him up and he seemed fine, well the next day, I went out to the coop and HE was DEAD! What the heck happened? How did he die? I am clueless any ideas thanks

probably a rooster fight, that is a lot of rooster for the number of hens. how old are they?
I am thinking it was rooster fight cause only 1 was injured?
