She is a Quail Antwerp Bantam and I love her/him so much I decided to work with that breed specifically. I need help naming it. Needs to be an uncommon name that would work for male or female because I dont know what it is. This chick is so special because of all my antwerp chicks, she/he was the only one that lived and was very sickly at first and had to be seperated. Heres a picture of her/him. Might need to refresh the page its pretty big. As far as personality goes, the chick is people friendly and so funny. Stands up as tall as it can and spreads its wings like an eagle. Then shakes like crazy and falls over!

ÉANNA
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Irish

Pronounced: AY-na

Possibly means "bird-like" in Irish. This was the name of several Irish kings and heroes. It was also borne by a 6th-century saint who built the monastery of Killeany.

ADERYN
Gender: Feminine

Usage: Welsh

Means "bird" in Welsh. This is a modern Welsh name.

ANDOR (1)
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Norwegian

From the Old Norse name Arnþórr, derived from the element arn "eagle" combined with the name of the Norse god Þórr (see THOR).

i really like the first one, but need one for males/females.

I like the idea of using the eagleness of the chick. Aigle would be French for eagle I believe. Not sure what the flemish would be. I based those choices on the chick being an Antwerp which is in Belgium.

what about Corrigan ? -- Corri for short if she's a girl

as in "wrong way Corrigan" ... the aviator who couldn't get permission to fly the Atlantic so filed a flight plan across the US, went "the wrong way" and wound up in Ireland ...

thought about that when you said the chick rears up as if to fly, then falls over

How about the last 4 letters of it's breed spelled backwards...... PREW or the whole thing spelled backwards would be pretna ???
