help! need a place to get small # of chicks

I want to get some cochin bantams, but i can't find a place where i can get only a few chicks.I can only find eggs in that breed and i don't have an incubator. most places only do large orders. i want to get some at any age below 20 weeks, and older is better to me. this is my first time and need some help.

Go to your feed store, they often will custom order chicks for you. See if someone else will split an order with you to meet the required number. Maybe put up a sign on the for sale board by the door to see if there are any takers. I am sure others run into this problem as well.
