One of my White Leghorns got her tail feathers plucked out during the night and I was wondering what I can use to help the healing process. I have things at home but not sure that I can use them on the chicks. It's not that bad but all the feathers are gone. Any advice will be appreciated and thanks.

You may want to spray blu-kote on it so that they other don't start pecking it. They will be canibals once there is an open wound.

O.K. as soon as I found her this morning I immediately put her away from all the others. I had read about 10 minutes ago to use 1 part Betadine to 9 parts water and to use topical Neosporine. So I did this and I took her in the box into the kitchen. They are only 2 weeks old so I hope it doesn't take long for the feathers to grow back.

Should I fix her some warm oatmeal to help with nutrients?

cook the oatmeal in water (not milk) and add JUST enough to the normal feed to make it all clump together ... you can also offer, free choice , a plain non-flavored live cultured yogurt.

O.K. I mixed it with the food but she doesn't seem to like it. Maybe she just needs a few minutes to get used to it.

The spot on her hiney is not as red as it was so I think the Beta ans the neo is working.
